According to the An Giang Market Surveillance Department, the inspection was carried out by Market Surveillance Team No. 10, in coordination with local police and the Economic Office of Khanh Binh commune. The operation took place at 9:00 a.m. on October 2, 2025, following Official Dispatch No. 188/CCQLTT-NVTH issued on September 9, 2025, which called for verification and action against goods violating intellectual property rights.

The team conducted a surprise inspection of a business household identified as T.V.X, located in Khanh Binh commune. During the inspection, officials discovered 900,000 fruit-wrapping paper bags labeled “fu Long”, measuring 18×28 mm, with an estimated total value of VND 450 million (about USD 17,500). The goods were found to carry signs of trademark infringement related to a brand already registered and protected in Vietnam.

Authorities immediately seized and sealed the entire batch of goods and launched further verification and evidence collection procedures to strengthen the case file for legal handling.

The An Giang Market Surveillance Department stated that the case is part of an ongoing effort to tighten control over counterfeit and intellectual property–infringing goods, particularly those affecting agricultural supply chains.
