The Better Choice Awards 2025 ceremony took place in Ho Chi Minh City, celebrating Vietnamese innovation, sustainability, and the aspiration for continuous improvement under the theme “Vietnam’s Aspiration – Better Every Day.”

Organised by Better Choice Magazine in collaboration with major media outlets and industry partners, the event recognised more than 50 outstanding brands, startups, and organisations for their creative solutions, sustainable business practices, and positive social impact.
According to the organising committee, the Better Choice Awards have become a platform to showcase Vietnam’s growing innovation landscape. “This is not only a brand recognition event but a portrait of Vietnam’s creative journey toward global integration,” said Mr. Tran Minh Duc, a representative of the organising committee.
Among this year’s highlights was the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) startups. Vietnamese-developed virtual assistant AI Hey was honoured in the “Outstanding Innovation Startup” category for its successful application of AI in education and enterprise management, helping optimise workflows and reduce operational costs.
In the sustainable development category, J&T Express Vietnam received the “Outstanding Green Enterprise” award for its eco-friendly logistics strategy and initiatives to reduce CO₂ emissions through its Green Delivery programme.
Meanwhile, Cake by VPBank was named “Pioneering Digital Bank” for applying AI to enhance customer experience and risk management, cementing its position as one of Vietnam’s fastest-growing digital banking platforms with over five million users.
Media organisations were also honoured for their role in inspiring social progress. Tuổi Trẻ Newspaper was recognised among the Top 5 Inspiring Media Platforms, applauded for promoting human values and creative responsibility through journalism.
Other notable names such as CellphoneS, MoMo, and VinAI were also celebrated for their achievements in digital transformation and community-driven innovation.
Launched annually, the Better Choice Awards aim to foster a culture of innovation and recognise businesses that prioritise sustainable growth and people-centred values. The 2025 edition will expand its scope to include international categories, connecting Vietnamese initiatives with the broader Southeast Asian innovation network.
The ceremony concluded with a message resonating throughout Vietnam’s startup and business communities: Innovation is not just technology—it’s a choice, a mindset, and a shared commitment to building a better future for all.
